Wet Seal Haul!

Well, I was supposed to get this package yesterday but UPS can't read and delivered it to the wrong apartment -GRRR! Luckily my neighbors were nice enough to return it to me. I got 9 tops for $50 even. Wet Seal always has some amazing clearance - sometimes it's buy one get one for a penny! I got this white belted shirt because I loved he way it looked on the model - but unfortunately they didn't have it in XS so I took a chance with a Small and it doesn't fit how I wanted it to. It's made of 100% cotton so hopefully it'll shrink.

I ADORE this taupe slouch top with a cut out in the back - I can't wait to wear it! The knit sweatshirt is super cute as well and I love how you can wear different colored tanks under it. It should be perfect for those cooler days this spring/summer.

I am not sure how I feel about this blue dolman top. The strappy Back is too cute but the scrunched sleeves and not-too-deep slouch make it boxy up top and too tight looking in the middle. Hopefully I can find a cute way to wear it.

I also got these basic v-necks and a tank as a 5 for $20 deal. They're great to just throw on and mix with a LP murfee scarf. You can't go wrong with a little simplicity!

Let Them Eat Cake!

Okay, so here it is - a post about my Birthday :)

My actual Birthday was not so fun and a little hectic because Wednesdays are my longest days and I had a midterm and a Law quiz and then work.... but Boyfriend (We'll call him 'Bear') tried his hardest to make me happy :)

He got me 3 things on my ISO list! The Lilly Pulitzer Txt Message 'Pencil me in' case, LP Acrylic wine glasses in my favorite print; Luscious, and the Cassie top in shorely blue!! He also got me a hot pink mp3 player that even takes videos and pics!! (I've been music-less since my ipod got stolen almost 2 years ago) He really does spoil me <3

My friend made me a pink and green funfetti cake for my birthday - I tried to make her do an LP print but she refused. It was still delicious and perfect - Hug points! She came over that night to make me whole-wheat black olive pizza (so yum!) and we all watched Kevin Hart's Seriously Funny - I suggest you all watch both this and Laugh at my Pain.. I cried laughing.

So overall, it wasn't that bad. The next day was Bear's birthday and our parents came out to visit us and we all went to dinner. It was really fun and now I have 43lbs of Chinese food (so excited) and 3 cakes in my fridge.... so much for that spring break diet?

Nail Time!

So here is my first nail polish review!

I had another long Saturday of work so no outfit of the day (BBW dress code is pretty boring), but I like to do my nails at work when I'm bored and tonight I closed the store up with two of my favorites :)

Nicole brought me Sally Hansen's 'Calypso Blue' because she knows I love ridiculous colors, especially blues and greens and she let me keep it! Yayyy!! Hug points for her <3

This is the best pic I could do with my not-so-awesome phone. I am totally in love. The sparkly/shiny undertone makes it so pretty. It was smooth and even to apply and dried fully relatively fast. This is 2 coats.

Those dots on the ring finger are Cinapro 'Dippity Dots'. I went into the salon store in the mall on my break and the ladies apparently had dropped the package so it was damaged and they were playing with them trying to figure it out and it wasn't working out... so they just gave them to me to bring to BBW to play with and let them know if we figured it out :) Yayyy! More free things!

I'm pretty sure we did it wrong, but I like them and I'm hoping these nails will match my LP Peel and Eat Wyatt when I'm in Florida :) They are VERY messy, however - once you open the pack find a new container for them or they will be EVERYWHERE. I wouldn't go out of my way to get them.. too frustrating if you want a specific design and such.

I went into the salon store to get a good green polish for St Patty's day - I found 'Glitter Envy' from color club.

It is a great green for the occasion, and it's sparkly and fun... but it also kind of looks like Disney Frog skin? I had to apply it rather thick-ish and not spread it too much or else it would clump :( This is two coats. I'm not crazy about it but I don't totally hate it.

Ta-Da

So I've done it! I've started a blog! I'm super new at this so please leave comments with what you want to see, what you don't, and whatever else I can do to improve this place!

This is still under construction but basically, I told myself I wanted to start a blog for my 20th Birthday - It was March 7th, but things have been a little crazy being midterm season and all.. But Hey! Better late than never!

I've been following a lot of preppy fashion and nail blogs lately thinking "wow, why can't that be me?" They do cute outfit of the day stuff and review nail polishes... I would love to do that (and I will as much as possible) but my OOTD is pretty much sweats and a T because I am BIZZ-ZEE and sleep deprived so there is hardly a time when I wake up at 7am and have the momentum to be all cute for my 8am class. But, nevertheless, I'm hoping this blog will motivate me to be a more outgoing and stylish gal everyday!

I'll tell you all about my birthday and more, but right now I just got out of the shower and need to get ready for Birthday Party Part 2 tonight!
